Floors and Pedals

When it was time to fit my pedals, the floors needed to be built in order to figure out pedal length and location. I decided to remove the stock toe board for more room, and use the old Ansen style pedal assembly that Vern Tardel is now making…

Here are a few pics of the process…

After pops made the template for the real floors, it was time to hang the pedal assembly.  The bottom of the stock gas tank was cut out, and of course I had just the right man for the job.

Once the tank was mounted to the cowl again, it became clear that the pedals needed to be longer.

Here is a view of the 60′s G.M master cylinder I am using, and the fire wall I fabricated to achieve proper engine and pedal clearance.
